"Oh come ON! What do you mean by that?!" A girls voice was heard. Angry, and maybe annoyed.

"I'm saying, we don't have it" Another's voice, a male.

"Ah that's BULL shit," Nella said. "The midnight release was 3 days ago, and you call yourself a gaming store" She was quite annoyed.

"We don't have off-brand games here"

"But you've got the bull movie games that I can breeze through in like and hour at the most."

"Yeah well, sucks to be you" he said

She left after that, moving towards the food court, wanting to blow off steam

She brushed her short brown hair behind her ears, and watched with her green eyes, looking for a place that wouldn't give her heart-burn, and a feint smile played upon her face, I wonder what they'd do, if... letting her thoughts trail off before they finished.

An empty store was next to the food court. A boy was standing in the shadows beyond the entrance to it. A black cat was laying on his head. The boy looked like he was getting annoyed from the creature. His arms were crossed and he was leaning against the wall. It looked like every par tof his body was covered. The cat had a pair of sun-glasses in it's mouth. "Can I have those back?"

Nella looked around, deciding on not buying, or stealing anything, and walked to the edge of the crowd, looking for something to quelm her anger. It was the best video-game store in town, and they didn't have the new game, that she had pre-ordered.

But whether she had meant to or not, by the time she reached the edge of the room, at her favourite little dark corner near the entrance, she had a bun in her hand and bit into it.

Xavier snatched the glasses back and put them on. "They not have the game you were looking for?" he asked the girl. He walked up to her with the black cat still on his head. It yawned and stretched out it's arms. "Oh, will you get off?!" he shouted at it, shaking his head. It fell to the ground with a startled "Mreow!" It rolled over and shook itself. "Hey! Just because i'm made of shadows, doesn't mean I can't get hurt! Since you forgot, i'm in the earth cat form!" it hissed, hiding in the Xavier's shadow. "Oh, shut up, Gamma."

Hm..?" she made a questioning sound, before holding up a finger for him to hold on, as she hurriedly swallowed her mouth-full. "Um... heh, yeah" she said a little embarassed, she was a super, with much more problems than a late shipment of video-games, but hey, everybody's got their hobbies, even the heroes. "That obvious?"

"Kinda, yeah." He grinned. "What were you looking for?" he asked. Gamma prodded him on the leg with his claws. "Ow!" He jumped and glared at the cat. "Can we go? I hear the lab just got a new, highly powerful crystal," he meowed. "I've already told you, not while the sun is up." The cat grumbled and dissapeared in a black mist. "..."

" just (insert highly anticipated game title here), and they STILL don't have the shipment, which was supposed to come 2 days ago on mid-night, gah... I guess I'm just being difficult..." she said, then commenting "Nice cat you got there, huh?"

"Yeah, right." He sighed. "Well, I have to put up with him. True, he can get on my nerves, but he's still a friend," he said. "By the way, the shipment did come last night...or was about to get here, but I kinda messed with the engine a little, so they had to delay it. But I did snatch a couple of copies, just for fun. I was bored anyway." He took a copy out of his trench coat pocket and handed it to her. "Want one?"

Nella's mouth dropped open, at first, she was a little angry on the inside, then she was just thrown off-balance by the offer of the (insert game title) game just off the bat like that. She was speechless.

He chuckled a little. He closed her mouth and asked "Well, want it or not?"
